The Making of a Guitar

The neck and headstock are cut to shape.

The holes for the tuners are drilled into the headstock.

The necks have been rough-machined and are ready for the fretboards.

The fretboard is glued onto the neck.

This vacuum bag provides the pressure needed to glue the braces to the delicate spruce top.

The finished top here is ready for body assembly.

Clamps assist in gluing the neck block and tail to the sides.

The back must be carefully fit to the sides before gluing.
